Aidan dreams of being a true warrior, loyally fighting for his king and country, Corenwald. But he is twelve, small, a shepherd, and the youngest fo the five sons of Darrow, who was a great soldier.
One day while Aidan is tending the sheep, he hears the sound not many hear, the bark of the bog owl.
This story is a parallel to the story of David, execpt that it's Lousiana backwoods meets Medievil times meets American history. AMAZING book, my whole family loved it! -Liv

The Kingdom Series
By: Chuck Black
The Kingdom Series is an excellent medieval parallel to the Bible. Chuck Black did an incredible job portraying each character's personality and their love for the King, and His son.
Join Cedric, Leinad, Tess, and Sir Gavinaugh as they battle to save Arrethtrae from Lucius, The Dark Knight, and serve The King and His Son.Travel through Arrethtrae from the Plains of Kerr to "The Kingdom Across the Sea" in a journey of faith, and courage, love, trust, and zeal for the King.
I love this series! It is a definite faith-builder, and a great adventure. The King reigns, and His Son! -Olivia

Hey everybody,
I just recently found out about an author named Melody Carlson, and got a couple of her books,
but they aren't grounded on truth. I'm afraid I have found that some of her works have some very wrong worldviews that I have to address. Here is a link to a review my mom found on a couple of her books:
Thanks you missionamerica.com and Linda Harvey!

DragonKeeper Chronicles, DragonSpell
Kale is a slave, has a simple routine, and there's nothing special about her. Except she can found a dragon egg in the creek near her home. The council in Kale's village decides to send Kale and her dragon's egg to The Hall.
This story is colorful and wonderful, filled with everything a story needs to make a great read to be enjoyed by, dragons, a reluctant heroine, a fanciful wizard, and a the amazing quest for a Meech egg. I LOVED this book! -Livi

Raising Dragons
Billy Banister has bad breath, and I don't mean smelly bad breath, I mean hot "stay-away-from me-kind" of breath. When Billy gets in trouble for setting of the fire sprinklers in the bathroom at his school, he and his new friend Bonnie, his best friend Walter, his mom, and his history teacher go on a wild adventure to find excalibur, and to escape the dragon hunters!
Great story! I loved it! Thank you Bryan Davis! -Liv
By Darkness Hid
Young Achan Cham dreams of serving in the Kingsguard Knights, but he is a stray-worse than a slave-and such aspirations are out of his reach. Worse, Achan is beginning to hear strange voices in his head.
Vrell is hiding from the prince, disguised as a boy, he wants to make her his bride, but Vrell dosen't want to marry the selfish, pigheaded, bratty royal prince. How long will she have to stay hidden?
Great book! I couldn't put it down! Well, course that's the case with me with a lot of books! -Liv
